Digital Design World Seattle a Rousing Success!

Digital Design World, an evolution of Thunder Lizard conferences, visited Seattle July 21-23, 2004 with a full range of sessions that explored the changing role of designers and production experts, as well as the emergence of digital workflow processes as critical to the entire design team.

Attendees participated in hard-hitting and informative sessions covering Web Design, Photoshop, and Digital Workflow, with special attention given to CSS, Photoshop CS, InDesign, and PDF/X. The hundreds of Photoshop users present at the event had the opportunity, for the first time, to take some of the conference’s popular speakers home with them. Avondale Media released their Secrets of the Photoshop Masters Volume 2 instructional CD at the conference, which features tips and techniques from master photographers and Seattle speakers Jeff Schewe, Martin Evening, and Greg Gorman.

“Other than at a Thunder Lizard conference, you can't get this kind of authoritative Photoshop expertise anywhere,” said Steve Broback, president of Avondale Media. “Greg, Jeff, and Martin are not only incredibly talented artists, they also worked closely with Adobe's engineers to help define the features of Photoshop CS.”
