Or, if you prefer, create an á la carte schedule based upon your specific technical interests. You may sign up for either one of the breakout conferences, and even add a pre- or post-conference workshop day to your package. Note: You must register for one of the conferences to be eligible to sign up for a workshop.

Alumni
Have you been to previous FTP Conferences? If so, we want to extend special savings onto you, our frequent and best customers. Corporate Savings
Bring your colleagues and we'll extend even greater savings to the group. To qualify, all registrations must be paid on the same transaction with a corporate check or corporate credit card. Registration Confirmation
Registration will be confirmed by e-mail. You'll receive a short text message as soon as payment has been received and your registration has been processed. This e-mail will include the package you have selected, the amount you have paid, and serve as your receipt for the conference. Please bring this to the onsite check in desk the first day of the event.
A more comprehensive e-mail message will be sent closer to the conference start date. It will include information about onsite check in, agenda updates, and more. On-site check in will open the morning of January 29, 2006. Exact times and location within Moscone Center West will be announced with the follow up e-mail message.
Speakers & Sessions
The speakers listed on this Web site are leading professionals in their respective fields. Should a speaker be unable to attend the conference, all efforts will be made to replace him or her with one of comparable experience and qualifications. We are constantly working on improving the quality of our conference products. If the opportunity arises we may add conference sessions and workshops to the posted line up to enhance the schedule and provide you a better product.
Key Deadlines & Registration Policies
Early Bird Deadline
We encourage early registrations and will even discount the package you choose if you sign up by this date. Our conferences do sell out, and registering in advance helps ensure your spot. The Super Early Bird deadline for VSLive! San Francisco is November 16, 2005; the extended Early Bird deadline is January 4, 2006.
Transfers, Cancellation and Refunds
You may transfer your conference registration to another person within your organization at any time by notifying us in writing. If you must cancel, please notify the conference registrar in writing by the extended Early Bird deadline: November 16, 2005. You will receive a refund for the package you chose, less a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations made after the Early Bird deadline as well as "no-shows" are liable for the full registration fee. In the event that the conference is cancelled by FTP, Inc., registration fees only will be refunded. Cancellations of travel reservations and hotel reservations made directly with the hotel are the responsibility of the attendee.
Hotel Cancellation
If you are unable to attend for any reason, you are responsible for canceling your own room reservations directly with the hotel at least 72 hours in advance of check-in, or you will be subject to penalties and fees by the hotel.
Special Requirements
If you foresee any special requirements while attending VSLive! (dietary, access, or otherwise), please contact the conference registrar at 800-848-5523 (or 650-378-7100 ) at least one month in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your wishes.
Photo Release
From time to time we use photographs of conference participants in our promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance at VSLive!, Fawcette Technical Publications, Inc. reserves the right to use your likeness in such materials.

Children under 18 years of age are not permitted to enter or attend any of the conference. No cameras or recording devices are permitted in the sessions at VSLive! FTP will record portions of the conference programs, and audio clips will be available on the Virtual Conference Web site.
