Researching the Domain
Each project should begin with clear definition of requirements based on business objectives, customer objectives, and user needs and goals. Research can offer profound insights that help define products and resolve debates over minor interaction issues.

Modeling the Users and Customers
Once research is complete, you will need to turn your raw data into a set of tools that will help guide the design, get the whole team focused on user needs, and ultimately measure the success of proposed solutions. We will discuss what Personas are and how we use them, walk through a persona creation exercise, and discuss how to prioritize the Personas when it's time to design.

We will focus on using the personas within scenarios to determine user needs, then reconcile those needs with customer objectives and business goals to create a final requirements list.

Turning Requirements into a Concrete Design
Using requirements and user goals to drive the form and behavior of the design is the critical step. In this segment, you'll work through an exercise that shows you how to: identify solutions that best meet requirements, define screen elements, use scenarios to group functionality, define an interaction framework, and iterate and test the design using scenarios.

We'll talk about ways to make design arguments more constructive, build buy-in with marketing and other stakeholders, and control shifting priorities so you're not coding a moving target
