Toufic Boubez, Chief Technology Officer, Layer 7 Technologies, is a well-respected and renowned Web services visionary. Prior to co-founding Layer 7 Technologies, he was the Chief Web Services Architect for IBM's Software Group and drove their early XML and Web services strategies. He worked as IBM's technical representative to the UDDI Web services consortium and participated on several standards bodies including the UN/CEFACT/OASIS ebXML initiative. During this time, Toufic co-authored the original UDDI API specification. Toufic also managed some of IBM Global Services' largest e-business engagements. Marc Fleury, JBoss. Born in Paris in 1968, Marc Fleury got his Ph.D in physics from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. He started in Sales at Sun Microsystems France and then moved to the United States where he worked on early Java enablement of SAP at SAPLabs. Marc started the JBoss project in 1999. An ex-Lieutenant in the paratroopers, Marc holds a degree in Mathematics from the Ecole Polytechnique, a masters in Theoretical Physics from the Ecole Normale ULM and was a visiting scientist at MIT during his thesis. Marc's research interest focuses on aspect-oriented middleware.
Robert Greene, Versant. Robert Greene is responsible for defining Versant's overall product strategy and direction, including strategic planning, product marketing, product planning, advertising, public relations, and business development. Dr. Nataraj Nagaratnam is the chief architect for identity management at IBM and lead architect for on-demand security infrastructure and technical strategy.
