Add web interface to VB6/Access app
I've been given a substantial stand-alone VB6/Access 2000 app to enhance. One of the requests is to provide a brand-new interface for public web users to run queries against the database and return a table of results to their browser.
I don't want to do any more redevelopment than necessary, so I was thinking of using VB6 WebClasses - but my experience of them is almost entirely theoretical rather than practical, and I need to get results fairly quickly.
I've been Googling for any "Webclasses for Dummies" type articles on the Net that will help me - but I'd really appreciate it if anyone could suggest any webpages that they think would lead me through the necessary steps.
Also, what do I do if the company's third-party web hosting isn't MS Internet Information Server, or if their developers won't allow me to add any active code to their server?
Thanks
